Nude Doll,

A lovely basic coverage for a soft & delicate look.  

First I apply MAC’s Prep & Prime all over my face before I apply any makeup. The Prep & Prime I use has a pink tint. MAC offers various Prep & Prime tint’s in nudes & browns but I purchased the pink one. After my face is primed I apply shadow to my lids & under my eyes. I am currently using NYX & I am obsessed with it.

Secondly I apply my MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation with my hands. I recently acquired this foundation last week to try it out & I have to say I am really impressed. I work for about 6 - 8 hours sewing, cutting fabric & such so I needed a full coverage that lasted all day especially since I have oily skin. I would definitely recommend it. Before this I was using MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation & was content with it. It applies really thick & I often find myself touching up. It has amazing coverage but only would recommend it for maybe like events, photoshoots or something like that.

Third I apply concealer ( not pictured) under my eyes & under my brows. The concealer I am using comes in a black lipstick tube & is a shade lighter than my skin tone. There is no label on it so I can’t remember where it is from but I would recommend using any concealer. After concealing my skin I apply my MAC Studio Fix Plus Foundation with a brush all over my face. I have used this foundation for so many years, it’s one of my must have products so I guess you can say I love it & it works for me. 

Last I apply my mascara & blush. The blush I am using (photo above ) is MAC Cubic. I just started using it last week & am addicted. It’s a light colored blush but compliments my skin tone so well. It completes any natural look & when applying I recommend smiling & brushing on the blush. Smile & apply sounds really silly but it works for me.

A lot has changed within the past two weeks for me. Perhaps my solitude has brought me to my sanity. I will be updating & changing a lot of things via my blog, website etc. One of my biggest changes will be my shop’s name. I know I changed my shop’s name like three or four times already but this time around everything must represent me & everything I stand for, my design aesthetic to the fullest. I am hoping within the next two months I can find some models, start adding products daily, networking like crazy & create my small empire I’ve always dreamed of. I am also going to update my blog more with photographs of basically everything I do. I want to share my creative process, daily inspirations & my life as I live it.

So to end my rant…

Bonjour babes today or at least so far… it’s cold & gloomy in the city. I like days like this because than I don’t have to worry about my face melting off. Anyways, today I will be in the studio finishing up the Flask Garters. What I love about the Flask Garters. is that they are Silk & can be folded up into a tiny little cute pouch to carry around or fit into your wallet or small handbag.

Other than working on Flask Garters, I will also be working on garters for my shop. Tomorrow I will be restocking the Gemma Garter, Demon Dolly Garter (which is basically the Gemma Garter but in black ) Dolly Rosary Garter, Eternal Lust Garter & Lavender Dolly Sets. All will be available to purchase first thing tomorrow morning. So get them while you can & remember $3 for every order will be donated to Team Alexandrea <333 .

This is Alexandrea Anissa Vizcarra. She is 19 years young & lives in the Los Angeles area. On May 10, 2009, Alexandrea Anissa was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL).

I have never met Alexandrea Anissa in person but instantly became in love with her when I was 15 or 16 on Myspace. Since than, I have always kept in contact with her & repeatedly explained my admiration for her. I am not sure what it is that makes me love everything about her but I do. Over the years I have always used her image, personality & herself as a majestic creature for inspiration in previous fashion collections I’ve designed. She has become one of my inspiration muses for not only fashion but life as well. So now that her illness has gotten more serious, I’ve decided I would love to do anything to help. I want to be as supportive & positive as I can because I believe she deserves the world, stars, moon & the entire fucking universe. Her story has changed me to be a better person inside & out.

So if you haven’t heard already, as of July 26, 2012 I started donating $3 of every order made on Gypsy Prince to Team Alexandrea on the BE THE MATCH FOUNDATION website. Earlier today I made my first donation of $30. I am really hoping I can raise more awareness, support & donations to help Alexandrea reach her goal of $1000. I will include the link to donate at the end of this post but would like to thank everyone who reads this & would greatly appreciate if you guys can help me share her story & save her life. 

Alexandrea Anissa needs a Bone Marrow Transplant so I would suggest to anyone who would like to help, register at the BE THE MATCH FOUNDATION & see if you are a match for Alexandrea.

today is my death of the sun. it’s a bit past 8pm & i still have the world on my shoulders. tonight i am planning on finishing a bustier as well as starting the test fits for my new bras i will be debuting this week. i have so many ideas/ projects lingering on my mind i’m not sure exactly where to start… well i hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. new bustier photos will be up tomorrow. xo

as you know, i been in & out of the hospital slowing rotting & recovering in unwanted bones. i’ve had my torture, i’ve had my shame & hopefully now all that will wash away. since things have happened & since things have changed i’ve decided to live out of my little known grave. it’s an unknown comfort & an unknown stay but my new dark of day…

day or dark, i been creating a disorder of things to drape on your bones. i haven’t got around to taking any photos but i will definitely start taking some this week. i am currently working on a caged garter for a photoshoot i have planned with the amazing Jade! it will drape on your lower waist & will be embellished  with roses/ studs. i am also creating a new garter style. this garter is embellished with a pink metallic bow & pyramid studs. it’s super cute!!! lastly, i start my job on tuesday. very exciting! i get to sew pretty things & play with delicate fabrics.
